Jeanelane & Janaire, thanks for stopping by and commenting. Marina said earlier today that she was hoping people liked her video. I love how honest she was in it.
Oh, ye with curly or wavy hair that have a choice! I have always envied you. Back when the Afro hairstyle was IT back in the 70's, I started perming. My hair was so short and I had it cut every month, so I permed it every month. No, never burned it out.
Now, I am pretty much a firm believer in natural hair, especially in styles that don't take a lot of time to work out. I have better things to do than to spend a lot of time on my hair.
I haven't colored in quite a while. It is mostly grey and I receive compliments. But in order to have any sort of body, I have to keep it short. I also can't live where there is humidity
So the high desert of NM is the best thing that happened to my hair! Oh, the rest of me, too!
Yea for embracing you! Hope others will do the same…:o)
Kandace, I don't like my hair straight, so the whole flat iron/curling iron thing is a non-issue. But I definitely remember the days of the burnt ears. Not doing that again. lol
Great video. I have not had the courage to learn how to use the curling iron. I have flashbacks of having my ears burned by the straightening comb as a child! LOL!
